Jesus gives six assurances to the disciples right before he is arrested on what to expect after he is gone from the earth.  The good news is that these assurances are for all of us as well.

Relationships don’t thrive because the guilty are punished, but because the innocent are merciful.

There are times when God hides, but at all times God’s ultimate purpose is to be found.

He gave gifts to the Church so that you “The Called” would be prepared

We were divided, unwelcome and hopeless, but through Christ’s act on the cross we are given peace, reconciliation and full access to God!

 The bad news is that we all lived and enjoyed a life of death; the good news is that God, through Christ, provided life—a gift that we did not deserve.
