The hardest part of visiting a new church is not knowing what to expect. Because of this, we want to summarize your experience on a Sunday Morning at Fairlawn.  Below, we’ve tried to answer as many of the most common questions as we could.  However, if you need more information, don’t hesitate to use the contact button at the bottom of the page.  We hope to see you soon! Come be our guest!

Come as you are

Whether you dress up or dress down, we want you to be comfortable. Come as you are.

Sunday Morning

There are two components to our Sunday Morning Experience. Community Groups meet at 9:15am, followed by our Worship Service at 10:30am. If you are visiting for the first time, we recommend joining us for worship.

Community Groups

Community Groups include nursery care, age-specific groups for children and teens, and a variety of adult groups. Some meet on Sunday morning. Others meet during the week. Click the link below for a current schedule.

Children & Teens

If you are visiting with students, they are always welcome to stay with you. However, we encourage you to go to the check-in desk at the west entrance for more information about classes offered just for them.

Your first visit

Upon your arrival, our friendly and helpful volunteers will be available to provide any assistance you may need.  We’d love to have you check in at our Welcome Desk in the lobby to get more specific information about our church.

We gather for worship in the Sanctuary at 10:30am.  Our goal is for you to encounter God’s presence as we sing, pray, and participate together in worship. Our music combines both contemporary and traditional music.  The messages from our pastors are practical and relevant to what you are experiencing in your life.  We try to convey some thought that will make a difference in your life that week.

Age-specific worship experiences are provided for children 3 months – 5th grade. On 5th Sundays and Holiday Sundays we emphasize families worshipping together in our Worship Service. Kids ages Kindergarten – 5th grade join the adults for worship together. All family worship services are interactive to engage every age. We engage kids through hands-on activities & intentional language from the pulpit.
