Community Groups

At FNC, we value the importance of doing life together. Gathering for worship each week is vital. However, meeting in smaller groups helps us connect with each other in a more meaningful way and understand how our faith can affect our every day lives. By experiencing life together as we are learning to follow Jesus, we develop community to love, support, and serve one another and our community.

We have many different types of Community Groups at FNC for all ages and stages of life. Some groups are Learning Environments that meet for a set number of weeks and focus on a book or theme.  Others groups focus more on connection and meet less frequently but are ongoing.  Some groups meet on Sunday morning at 9:15 am while others meet during the week. Some meet at the church while others meet in various locations in and around Topeka.  Click the link below to see more information about current groups meeting now.

Current Groups

Stephen Ministries

For those, 18 years or older, who need a listening ear, or someone to walk through a difficult part of life. Stephen Ministry is the place to turn. Led by a team of trained and background checked individuals, we will meet with you, hear your story, and walk along side you in your time of struggle. Contact the church office for more information.

Cornerstone Ministries

If you are a Senior Adult and looking for a place to connect, Cornerstone is for you. We have a Bible Study that meets on Tuesday Mornings. We also volunteer together during the school year to bless Landon Middle School across the street from FNC. We also have fun together doing group outings from time-to-time. We look forward to welcoming anyone interested in this ministry.

College Age

You aren’t a teen anymore, but you’re still a student, OR you are graduated, but not married, OR you are married, but younger than the others in your stage of life — this is the place for you. Led by Kevin and Christine Poole , our small group meets on Sunday mornings. Come and join in the conversation as we dialogue and learn from each other.
